THIS PLACE IS A JOKE Your review This Place Isn't What It Appears To Be (Matt The Manager Is A Hot Mess)‎ - ‎ - Today I have a friend that also live at the complex (The Place At Galleria). He has to park his company truck at his fathers house in Trussville because of the trash and garbage that are around the dumpster area. He states that he just got a job with a Company that get calls to go out and trap raccoons, snakes, birds, bees and ect. The bait that he use for trapping these unwanted animals are kept in his company truck and because of that the owner of the company thinks that the raccoon's, snakes and ect. will cause damage to the company vehicle by trying to eat trough or find a way into the truck to get the bait. In the morning this poor guy has to drive to Trussville to pick up the vehicle, work all day, then go back Trussville to park it and drive all the way back to Hoover where he live. That is unheard of. I wouldnt recommend it I was shown a nice model 1bed 1 bath apt for $525 and I loved it so I put down my deposit. Then a week later I went over the lease and signed it with Jessica. Then right after that I went to check out my new, different apartment and was disgusted by the amount of roaches occuping it. I pulled up the blinds in my bedroom and 6 of them came crawling out not to mention there were many in the kitchen and a couple in the bathroom. So i immediately went and told her before moving anything in & she replied, "well I just did a walk thru of the apartment and didnt see not one" & acted like I made the whole story up. Then she proceeded to tell me that I am on the 1st flr and bc of the heat thats why I have so many and that she could get some man out there to spray. This was all Friday afternoon, its now Monday evening and she has yet to get into contact with the man. She did have the maintence man come and bomb the apt but that did NOTHING! I also went and got some stuff and bombed it right ... I was shown a nice model 1bed 1 bath apt for $525 and I loved it so I put down my deposit. She told me there were no other units available and that if there were I would have to wait 6 months and pay a $300 transfer fee. Is she serious? Then I asked kindly if I could get out of my lease also note I havent spent one night in there yet due to its infestation and she said I had to pay $1500 (concession) plus one months rent. I cannot believe these ppl think its acceptable to live in an apartment infested with roaches especially with a baby. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Show full review
