Only in their best interest...Dealt with Ultimate Properties for 2 years as an owner and never felt like they had anything but their own interest in mind. Their policy of allowing propsective tenant into a vacant home by simply calling their office to receive the lockobox code with very little information cost us a washer/dryer. When confronted with the situation, Mike Reid accused us of providing the code to friend, however, we were never provided the code!! At the completion of one of the leases, damages were assessed against the tenant and security deposit held, however, significant delays occurred in us receiving the deposit as a result of the damages. When asked about the funds, Mike provided no response. Ultimate is only responsive when they want to be and when they are not responsive, they fall back on their "Wal-Mart" approach in saying that they can't do everything for everyone when the have so many homes to manage. Additionally, costs to be shared 50/50 between tenant and owner were not well managed from a collection standpoint, resulting in hundreds of uncollected funds from the tenant due to lack of follow-up by tenant.
