Better reconsider doing business from these theives In June 1996, we leased space that was built out by the adjacent tenant consisting of (3) offices, electrical, lights, phone jacks, ect. at Hohokam Commerce Center 1403 W. 10th Place, Tempe, AZ 85281. Some years later Commercial Properties, Inc. bought this building and assumed the duties and responsibilities. In 2004, our air compressor went out and to our amazement Commercial Properties cleverly wrote into the lease that this was the tenants responsibility. We spent $420.00 to replace a motor on this 15 year old air conditioner. On June 1, 2010 we declined to renew our lease after 15 years and Commercial Properties, Inc which held in trust our security deposit in the amount of $1200.00 returned only $533.91 charging Security Response,Inc. citing for of all things electrical and lighting repairs for $567.00 for which they never spent a dime or knew of the condition or lack of condition as the time of purchasing the building. It seems to our disbelief they chose to replace ... Several attempts have been made but their representative Mr. Cassell states "you should read your lease more carefully." After 15 years this is absurd the one, not build out the unit two, not fully know the condition of the unit, and three, charge the leaser that rented this unit at zero cost to Commercial Properties!!
