DO NOT LIVE HERE!! Cockroaches. Unhealthy. Unsafe. Management ignores you. Upper management is worse- unprofessional and not afraid to break the law to get your money. I viewed the property and thought it was nice, clean etc. and was enticed by the move in special-- but DON'T BE FOOLED. I read reviews online about cockroaches but the seemingly nice girl at the office said not to worry, that was only people who were unclean and that if I had any, an exterminator would immediately kill them all. WRONG. A few months later cockroaches the size of my thumb invaded my very clean apartment. I found them in my living room, bedroom closet, bathroom, patio... I called the office and found out the exterminator comes one day every week. That should tell you something. I had to wait a week for the next visit. It did nothing. They all came back and with babies. I called the office and the person always said oh we will take care of it. Then nothing happened. I left messages. Nothing. The lights in the parking lot ... The lights in the parking lot were out, strange people were hanging out in shadows in the carport areas and I bought mace because I no longer felt safe. I started having panic attacks about cockroaches and was unable to eat or sleep there. I continued to pay rent but no longer could live there and was forced to move in elsewhere temporarily. I spent weeks trying to resolve the issue with them and finally opted to research my legal rights to get out. Besides the cockroaches as a health hazard and their failure to create a habitable environment within a reasonable time period, there was also the continuous water shut offs etc... I informed the office of my intent to vacate, had a formal letter explanation, had it usps mailed and signed for etc. and even went so far to kill one of the cockroaches and bring it in a plastic bag for the Manager to see herself. She said she would have done more if she had only known...That's what all the messages were for! When I submitted my vacate form I requested a formal end to my lease and let them know my move out date and key turn over. Conveniently a new guy was there and the Manager and everyone else was gone for the next few days and he knew nothing. I contacted upper management and even when I presented all the legal support for my right to vacate an uninhabitable and physically and mentally harmful location, they fought me. Eventually they agreed to terminate my lease but still managed to unlawfully confiscate most of my deposit claiming I didn't give them a full month warning-though by law I didn't have to give them a warning at all! I still consider bringing the situation to the attention of legal authorities to prevent it from happening to others and to ensure the management executives know what is going on with this property and their staff. In the end beware of living here- it was a nightmare for me and likely will be for you. Show full review STAY AWAY! You will be fooled into thinking this is a great place to live. Only if you want roaches, loud noise and bad management. Water is turned off every week from 9am-4pm. Car windows are broken into. Security changes every 3-6 months. Tagging and loud kids running down the hallways. Over priced stink hole. Management is worse than a used car sales man. If you do come down to see the apartments, do so without management. Look at the parking after 5pm. Check out the gates that never work. You will be scared for your family's life.
