This place is great I am very confused about what other people are talking about. My spouse and I have lived here for over a year and recently renewed the lease. The office people have been nothing but sweet and kind and very friendly. The maintenance people are very friendly as well, and some of them are my neighbors, which I think is great. In the 15 months we have lived here, we have averaged about 1 roach a month, which my husband promptly killed and it was no big deal. The thing is, when you have the great location of being 5 miles from the beach, and there are so many beautiful, mature eucalyptus trees in the complex, you're going to have an occasional bug. If you keep your apartment clean, it's a non-issue. I have never had a problem parking my car, even if I come home from working the night shift at 2am. It may be across the complex from where I live, but I carry a little flashlight and feel safe as a woman to walk by myself to my apartment. I've never had a problem getting guests passes for ... I love walking over to the Lab or the Camp and having a drink with friends, and the mall is really close. I highly recommend this place, and my recommendation does not come easily. I have lived with slumlords, with no consistent hot water, inconsistent electricity, scary "safefty patrol," and infestations, for the same price. This place is like an oasis compared to some scary renting experiences I have had in the past. Show full review
